Various policies and programs from Heru Budi Hartono as Acting Jakarta Governor received appreciation from many parties. One of them is Jakarta DPRD Commission A Chairman, Mujiyono. He assessed that Heru's performance is excellent.

"Our Acting Jakarta Governor's typical is focus for the result, not frenzied with media reports," he said, Friday (1/5).

According to him, Heru is a genuine bureaucrat who is oriented towards real and achievable results.

"His work is based on valid data, not assumption," he said, who is also an Advisor for the Jakarta DPRD's Democratic Party.

He added that Democratic Party Faction has observed a number of achievements of Heru Budi Hartono. One of them is reducing stunting in Jakarta from 16.8 percent to 14.8 percent.

Jakarta Provincial Government intervenes once every two weeks by giving healthy food, milk and health checks.

"Of 22,000 children with stunting, 9,000 of them have been handled," he added.

For the flood handling, he stated, Jakarta Provincial Government under Heru Budi Hartono's leadership completed the Ciliwung waterway and it was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo by the end of July 2023.

"It is hoped the Ciliwung waterway is able to mitigate flood in Jakarta, especially in Ciliwung area," he added.

Heru Budi Hartono also continues developing mass transportation to overcome traffic jam, that is East-West MRT Corridor by cooperating with West Java Government. This corridor will serve route of Cikarang-Jakarta-Balaraja and Tomang-Medan Satria.

"Also supporting intercity transportation integration with Jakarta-Bandung train and Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Bekasi LRT," he continued.

By revitalizing traditional market in order to gain the purchasing which is supported by monitoring the distribution of subsidized food, monitoring prices, maintaining the availability of food stocks in the market and building cooperation with the other regions to maintain the supply, Heru Budi Hartono was able to increase the economic growth.

Heru also has the Integrated Poverty Intervention Program to overcome extreme poverty in Jakarta. This program is run by all regional apparatus organization (OPD) by validating and updating data to stay on target. The program's focus is reducing the expense burden of poor families through assistance of social services.

Mujiyono explained that Heru Budi Hartono also brought Jakarta Provincial Government to win the Best Regional Inflation Control Team (TPID) award in the Java and Bali category. Jakarta was able to maintain inflation rate with 2.93 percent year on year (yoy) in August 2023, or lower compared to the national inflation rate with 3.27 percent.

"Jakarta Provincial Government received a fiscal incentive Rp 10,171,644,000 which was allocated for cheap food subsidies through this achievement," he closed.
